Precautions to take while going for dining in Gold Coast Bar nowadays
When you go dining at a Gold Coast bar there are a few precautions you should take because of the COVID-9 pandemic. In the last few days the Queensland government has eased many of the restrictions for socialising and going out to restaurants and bars.
The government has modified its policies and restrictions to enable business’s to reopen and operate responsibly and increase their business activities without compromising the health of the general public, customers or their staff.
All establishments are required to operate under the approved COVID-19 Safe Industry Plan and comply with the provisions in the COVID safe checklist
These are some of the precautions you should take when dining out:
Try and choose a bar with an abundance of outdoor seating or plan to dine during the cooler times of the day
- Ensure your own personal hygiene by regularly washing your hands with plenty of soap and water
- Many areas in bars and restaurants are likely to be contaminated so there should be staff who are regularly sanitising these areas including door handles, rails, counters, taps and touch screens
- If they are available, use disinfecting wipes (or bring your own) on all touchpads, buttons and handles before you touch them and dispose of the wipes responsibly in a bin
- Use hand sanitiser with at least 65% alcohol content regularly and look for signs that the catering staff are also using hand sanitiser regularly
- Try and use touch-free menus or check the establishment’s website and make your menu choices before you arrive, this can even be done when making your booking
- Many establishments now use doorless bathrooms where screens are placed so you can avoid touching many surfaces
- Sanitise your hands after handling money or using keypads
- Use tap and pay or swipe credit or debit cards to make payments if possible
